It is an honor to be recognized as Dr. George Washington Carver’s Student of the Month. Nominated students have demonstrated the attributes of helpfulness, cooperation, friendliness, courtesy and leadership. Recognizing student achievement and providing rewards for students’ efforts is an important component of the overall program at Dr. George Washington Carver Middle School. The Student of the Month Program provides all staff and faculty an opportunity to nominate students for recognition of overall attitude, quality of work, contribution to class, respect for self and others, leadership potential, and initiative.

We are looking for a special effort and/or growth on the part of the nominee. The following criteria used in the decision making process was:
