Over thirty years of consistent and thoughtful teaching, high expections and rigor, for all students, regardless of facial of socio-econimic status.  Henry Clay Middle School  were blessed to have the dedication and presence of Mr. Spencer for three decades.  Carver Middle School is now being influenced by his daily presence and continued effort for the countless number of lives.  Influenced by one.  We honor this man by dedicating the Auditorium at Clay Middle School to John B. Spencer Hall.
